You call or text your single friends, who are also amazing and awesome, and you…..

1. Have a spa day! Whether at a real spa, or at home, you can give each other manis and pedis and facials and make Valentine’s Day all about loving and pampering yourself. Because if you can’t love yourself how the hell can you love somebody else!? (Ru Paul anyone? ha!)
2. Find something new to love. Agree on something that you have never done but would love to try. This can be a dance class, a cooking class, even a pole dancing lesson, anything that is outside the box for you will work.
3. Make it a night out! Your favorite restaurant, a karaoke bar, bowling, the movies or a concert. Single or not, you can still paint the town red!
4. We’ve all heard of Secret Santa but what about Secret Cupid? Put everyone’s name in a box and draw a Valentine to buy a gift for. Everyone gets to feel special and no one goes home empty handed.
5. Do you have the whole day free? Go on a day trip! You can go hiking, sightseeing, take pictures together and explore new territory.
6. Have a little get together at your home. Invite your single friends over for music, food, drinks and fun!
Not in the mood for company? Be your own Valentine!
1. Make or order your favorite meal.
2. Dim the light, put on a DVD or some music.
3. Take a long, relaxing bubble bath, with candles and mood lighting.
4. When you are ready for bed, put on your favorite pajamas, light some scented candles, and cuddle up with a good book.
Valentine’s Day can be a little bit depressing when you are single, but it doesn’t have to be. You can have a great time with other singles or even on your own.
What are your Valentines Day plans this year?

Since I recently had a break up with my girlfriend, I am not very much in the mood to celebrate the day. I am going to spend the Valentine’s Day in my home, probably watching a movie. I do not have many friends to invite. I think writing a blog is doing good for me.
