Can you guys tell that I’m a little bit excited about Halloween this year? Every year we throw a Halloween party for our family and friends, and I’m always looking for fun Halloween food recipes that the kids and adults will like. While grocery shopping over the weekend I of course had to stop by the Halloween section and found the cutest little gravestone peeps! I just knew I had to use them in some type of recipe, and I remember a “cake” my mom used to make me that resembled dirt and worms. That gave me the idea of my Edible Graveyard! My daughter loved the idea, and I thought some of you would too! [Read more…]

I have been on my journey to getting healthy for about a month, and out of all the things that I have learned, it’s that nutrition is the most important thing. Working out is great, but it means nothing if you are not getting the proper nutrition. I read a quote the other day that said “Everytime you put a food in your mouth you are either fighting disease, or fueling it”. And that really resonated with me. I used to think that as long as I stayed under my calorie goal for the day then it didn’t matter if I ate fast food all day. I’m learning now that that isn’t true.  [Read more…]

So with that being said, I ordered pizza and brought home leftover cake for dessert. Ask me how bloated and gross I feel today? HA!  [Read more…]
