Royal icing for cookies
This icing is great because once the cookies are iced you can layers the colors. You can also stack the cookies without them sticking and best of all the icing is shiny and the colors are vibrant.
Ingredients
2 cups of confectioners’ sugar
4 teaspoons milk
4 teaspoons of light corn syrup to make the icing thicker or thinner according to your taste.
2 teaspoon of vanilla
food coloring
Directions
in a small bowl, stir together confectioner’s sugar and milk until the icing is smooth and doesn’t have bubbles. The beast in the corn syrup and vanilla extract until the icing is smooth and shiny.
Then divide the icing into the number of colors you wish to make. If the icing is thick then add a little milk.
Then get your cookie and get ready to ice.
