Bacon Garlic Butter Recipe
Bacon Garlic Butter Recipe
I hope everyone had an awesome 4th of July! I don’t know about you but here in TN it rained pretty much ALL weekend. Even with the rain, we still managed to shoot off some fireworks and grill in between the bouts of rain. I am a very recent steak eater (never did like it until I gave it another try a few months ago) so this weekend was my first time having steak grilled at home. I knew I wanted to make it special.
At the restaurant we went to where I first had a steak, they put this really yummy bacon garlic butter on their steak. After trying it, I just knew I had to work on recreating this taste at home. You guys, not only is this super easy to make, it really adds some awesome flavor to steak. You could also spread it on some toast, use it in savory recipes, and more! I wish I would have tried it sooner. Are you ready for how easy this is? Really it takes about 5 minutes, ha!
Here is how you make this Bacon Garlic Butter:
You Will Need:
- Butter! (This will need to be REAL butter. Not a butter like product)
- Bacon! (cooked and crumbled)
- 2 cloves garlic
- plastic wrap
Directions for making Bacon Garlic Butter:
Step 1: First you will want to soften your butter. You will want it soft enough to be able to mix it.
Step 2: Once your butter is softened, scoop it into a mixing bowl and add in your garlic and chopped bacon. (Note: make sure your bacon has cooled otherwise it will begin to melt your butter). Mix to combine.
Step 3: Lay out a large piece of plastic wrap. Scoop your butter onto your plastic wrap and wrap. Roll your butter to form a log and wrap tight to seal.
Step 4: Place your bacon garlic butter in the fridge and let harden (about 2 hours).
That’s it! 4 easy steps and you have some yummy butter that goes great on pretty much everything! You can make this recipe using your favorite veggies, spices, meats, or even fruits! Enjoy!
