No Sew Cashmere Boot covers
No Sew Boot Covers
I have been salivating over these new boot warmer trends. I love a good new sew project so I decided to figure out how to make no sew boot covers. The first thing I did was look for material. Then it hit me I have sweaters. Sweaters have two arms. I have two legs. The next question was would the arms fit my legs? Then would the arms fit over my boot. I had to find a sweater that had a little give in it. I realized that it would. I picked this gorgeous pink 2 ply cashmere sweater. I bought it at Goodwill for $3.50. I got it home and realized it was a little short and had a tiny hole in the side. I was so upset but I forgot to exchange it. I was waiting to figure out something cool to do with it. Then I saw this new boot warmer trend and it hit me!
No Sew Boot Covers
You will need a scissors, sweater, and boot. Lay your sweater flat and cut off the sleeve. Then put on the sleeve on your leg. I put the cuff on the top. Next you will put on the boot and fold the no sew boot cover over the boot.
It was an easy project and it can be done for yourself and your kids. This is a great way to use those old sweaters and possibly use sweaters that you children have outgrown in a whole new way!
