Skinny Salmon Burgers Recipe
Skinny Salmon Burgers Recipe
I am SO tired. Last night I hosted a sleepover for 7 little girls from ages 4-9. Did I mention I didn’t know I was hosting this sleepover until the day it happened? Yeah that’s right, I’m one of those cool moms that said that my daughter could just bring her friends home with her after a birthday party. So with that being said, I ordered pizza and brought home leftover cake for dessert. Ask me how bloated and gross I feel today? HA!
So for dinner tonight, I wanted something easy (because I’m exhausted) and light (because I didn’t eat very well last night) and my daughter asked for my Skinny Salmon Burgers and that was something I could whip up quickly and it’s really tasty. So for the other exhausted moms out there just trying to live a healthy life with their kids, this recipe is for you!
Here is how to make my Skinny Salmon Burgers:
You Will Need:
- 15 oz Pink Salmon (in cans or pouches)
- 1 Cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup Green Onions (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 Tbsp Light Mayo
- 1 egg
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Pepper
- 2 Tsp Old Bay Seasoning
- Whole Wheat Buns
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl combine everything but the buns and mix with your hands to combine.
Step 2: Spray a baking pan with olive oil. Form patties using your hand and place them on the baking sheet about an inch apart. Bake for 25 minutes on 375.
Step 3: Serve on buns with your favorite veggies and sauces! (May I suggest a little plain greek yogurt mixed with some hot sauce for a yummy super low calorie topping? You’re welcome!)
How easy is that right? The perfect recipe for when you want something quick, healthy, and full of flavors. My super picky eater (who also isn’t the hugest fan of seafood) loved these burgers and has asked for them again, woohoo!

Our family really likes Salmon. Usually we grill it and marinate it, but this delicious and nice a change. Will have to try it soon.

I have actually made a very similar recipe using tuna instead of salmon and they were a huge hit. I look forward to trying this version and may even splurge on the fresh fish if it happens to be on sale.

Ok I have to be honest I cannot eat any type of seafood. I will pass this along to my boyfriend as he is the fisherman of the family.

My mom used to make some awesome salmon patties when I was younger. I love salmon, pretty much any way you can eat it, but my family doesn’t. I wish I could change their mind.

I love making Salmon Burgers, haven’t made them in awhile, I make them more during Lent than any other time of year, but I am always looking to mix it up as I eat a lot of Salmon! I was going to make a Salmon Fillet tonight in fact with some salad! 🙂
