Churro Waffles Recipe for Mother’s Day Breakfast
Kids Can Make Recipe for Mother’s Day Breakfast
Churro Waffles Recipe
While in Orlando for Spring Break with my family, I noticed every chance my Mother-in-Law had to grab a churro, she took it. While munching on one of those cinnamon sugar dough sticks of deliciousness it got me thinking of a perfect Recipe for Mother’s Day Breakfast for my daughter and I to make for my Mother-in-Law for Mother’s Day! I love getting a little creative in the kitchen, and my mini me is always down to help me try something new.
Mother’s Day seems to get more commercialized every year . Who can spend the most money? Who can get the new phone first, the bigger bouquet of flowers, etc. And if that is your thing great! It’s SO not mine. Spending the day with my husband and daughter is more than enough to make me a queen for a day. So with that in mind, I wanted to share an easy Kids can make recipe for Mother’s Day Breakfast that any mom who is a lover of sweet things will enjoy. Let’s check them out!
You Will Need:
- Frozen Waffles (Or you can get really fancy and make some homemade)
- Butter (Melted)
- Cinnamon
- Sugar
Here is how to make this yummy Kids can make Churro Waffles Recipe for Mother’s Day Breakfast:
First, on a plate combine some cinnamon and sugar. Being honest here, this is an easy recipe, so no need to measure. Let’s the kids eyeball it ;).
Then, take your waffles and dip them in your melted butter, on both sides, and then in your cinnamon sugar mix, again on both sides.
Next, Fry em up! It took about 2 minutes on each side to get that sticky, crunchy, oh-so-yummy coating on the waffles.
Last, Top with powdered sugar and enjoy! Everything your mom loves about a churro, in breakfast form! And easy enough for the kids to make. Hungry yet?
