DIY Superbowl Party Decor: Football Plate

It’s almost time for the big game ya’ll! We always love watching the Superbowl in my house! We aren’t huge football fans, but we do love a good excuse to party ha! So every year we have friends and family come over and we hose a Superbowl party! I’m all about a good theme, so I make sure to have football cups, plates, and decor. For some reason this year I had a really hard time finding a big football plate that I could put snacks on! So I thought hmm…I bet I could make one of my own, and it was SO easy that I just had to share this easy DIY Superbowl Decor: Football Plate with you guys. You only need a few things to make it, and your football loving friends are sure to applaud your effort. Let’s check it out:

Here is how to make your own DIY Superbowl Decor: Football Plate:

You Will Need:

  • An Oval Shaped Plate
  • 3 Shades of Brown Paint
  • 1 Tube White Paint
  • Paint Brushes

Instructions to make this DIY Superbowl Decor: Football Plate

1) wash the plate and dry
2) Then out line the design with your darkest brown
3) Fill in the football with your medium color
go in with lighter color
4) Let dry for an hour between layers
5)Then paint your light color on top
6) Then paint the white stripes
paint white grip
7) Go in to the football painting and apply some dark and light paint to give it depth
8) Then bake your design according to the directions on the back
