Giving Back To Our New School With The Giving Back Pack Event!
Giving Back To Our New School With The Giving Back Pack Event!
*This is a sponsored post brought to you by Wonderful Pistachios, as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own 🙂
Well it’s official. The school year has officially started for us. On Monday my daughter started the 3rd grade. (yes, we start school early down here in the south!). This year is a little different than years past. We are starting at a brand new school! We just bought a new house a few towns over from where we currently live, so we are in a whole new school system and a brand new school. We were lucky enough to get her into a local arts integrated school and we couldn’t be more thrilled. So when I was asked to participate in the Giving Back Pack Event sponsored by Wonderful Pistachios I was thrilled! What better way to introduce yourself to a new school than by giving back to your new school right!?
The Giving Back Pack Event is something one of my best blogging girlfriends, Real Advice Gal has been doing for years, and it’s always such a wonderful even for bloggers. We all get together and donate to kids in need right in our own neighborhoods. It’s such a great way to start off the new school year.
So when taking my daughter shopping for school supplies, we were able to pick up up doubles of each thing we got so we could fill a backpack to donate to my daughters new school. It’s something that is so easy to do, doesn’t cost a lot to do, and can leave a positive impact on a student at your child’s school or in your neighborhood.
As I mentioned before Wonderful Pistachios is our sponsor this year. Which works out great for me because it’s a snack my entire family loves. And by the way, these 100 calorie packs are awesome. You can take them on the go and they are great for when you need a little protein in your day. As the kids head back-to- school this fall, Wonderful Pistachios tube packs are the perfect on-the- go snack option that is both nutritious and delicious to get you through your day. They’re also great to pack in school lunches. They are a great option to swap out for a bag of chips too.
We are ready for a brand new school year and plan to keep giving back in our school whenever we can throughout the year. Won’t you join us and donate a back pack today?

I love the idea of donating a back pack to school!!! We do small treat bags with school items, but using a back pack is a better idea.

That is a wonderful thing to do. We do that in our local district as well with backpacks with school essentials.

My kid’s school pick one grade each year to give backpacks and supplies to and we had several programs to give out school supplies and backpacks during the summer. These programs are really helpful to me as I have a six and seven year old to buy back to school uniforms and supplies for.

I know that teachers are under paid.I also know that some people can’t afford school supplies. There seems to be a problem.

This year I won several contests with school related items, if I win and the family doesn’t need it, I donate to social services, Salvation Army etc

I don’t think the teacher should have to supply anything out of pocket. I don’t have kids in school, yet we still pay taxes to support the system.
