How to Make Easter Bunny Barrettes
Happy Spring! The time has come for some sunshine, playing outside, and spring crafts! One of the best Spring holidays is Easter right!? And the first thing I think of when I think of Easter are cute little Easter Bunnies! So I thought it would be fun to make some DIY Easter Bunny Barrettes just for fun. You could wear them yourself, make them for your children, or for your child’s doll like I did! Would you like to learn how to make them? Let’s check them out!
Here is what you will need to make these DIY Easter Bunny Barrettes:
- 3/4 Ribbon in White (You could change the ribbon color if you are feeling fancy)
- 1/4 Ribbon in Pink
- Barrettes
- Hot Glue Guns
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Poms Poms
Here is how to make Easter bunny barrettes:
First, cut your 3/4 ribbon in 2 8 1’2″ strips.
Next, You will be making your bow! It’s super simple I promise. First you will use your hot glue to glue the ends of your ribbon to make a loop. Then, you will pinch the ribbon together in the middle and glue again. (See you bow starting to form?). Next you will pinch your bow together in the middle the opposite way and glue again! Last, you will fold the edges over and glue again. TaDa!
Then, grab some fun pom poms and glue them right in the middle!
Next, it’s time to make our Bunny ears! You will be cutting your 1/4 ribbon into 5 1/2″ pieces (2).
Then, make a loop (like a bunny ear) and glue together. After you make your bunny ears you will be gluing them to the back of your bows!
Finally, glue your barrettes to the back of your bows and you are all done! Now you have a super cute pair of custom DIY Easter Bunny Barrettes.
How cute are these right!?
