Pineapple Cake Cookies
I love pineapple upside down cake. The problem is it isn’t portable. I mean you can’t eat it everywhere. You can pack it in your lunch box easily. I thought about it and decided to make pineapple cake cookies. It was easy to do since I had an excellent starting point with my successful and wonderful easy cool whip cookies
pineapple cake cookies ingredients :
Pineapple cake mix
pineapple 1 cup crushed variety with the juice is fine
cherry (dry or the maraschino cherries )
The first step is to place the cake mix into the bowl.
Then you will mix in the egg.
I placed in the 1 cup of crushed pineapple.
The next thing I did was fold in the whipped topping
I then placed it in the refrigerator for about ten minutes.
Once I took it out of the refrigerator I used a tablespoon and spooned the batter on to a greased baking sheet
We put a cherry in the middle of the dough.
Finally sprinkle the dough with brown sugar.
Then you place it in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
Once the cookies look a little golden brown around the edge.
Then take them out of the oven and place them on a cooling rack.
I will tell you these cookies are great with some vanilla icing. They are frankly great alone. These are the cookies you can easily make for those bake sales, break up, tea parties, days where you need a sweet and easy treat. I just love using pineapple it is a unique blend of sweet and tart. Is the perfect way to complete a meal.
