Stirfry Chicken Recipe
Stirfry Chicken Recipe
In our house, chicken is our favorite meat so I’m always trying out new and different recipes. This Stirfry Chicken Recipe is easy to prepare and cook. It’s a great way to prepare your family’s favorite chicken and at the same time add more veggies in your diet.
Here’s how to cook this Stirfry Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs of chicken breast
1 head of brocolli
two large peppers
1 TPS of fresh garlic
2 stalks of Celery
2 large Carrots
1/2 red onion
coat the pan in olive oil
I cheated and bought a stir fry sauce
You will need to cut all of the items above. I did so using the cutco knives. Read why I use Cutco Knives.
I place the onions in the pan first and cook them on medium heat for about 2 minutes then I added in the rest of the ingredients.
I place 1/2 a cup of water in and the stir fry sauce. We use less stir fry sauce then the bottle says. We sometimes leave it out all together and we just dip our stir fry in a little soy sauce.
The purpose of stir fry is to stir often. I stir often for about 5 minutes. Then I put the lid on the pan for an additional 3 minutes. I try to steam the veggies a little bit using this method. I take off the lid and stir for about two minutes.
Make sure the chicken is cooked by using a meat thermometer. Then plate the stir fry over a bed of rice, we like jasmine rice. I also cheated and got the kind that boils in ten minutes. I have been known to cook it in my slowcooker in the morning since we love to eat rice.
