Cold Cream Cheese Veggie Pizza Recipe
Cold Cream Cheese Veggie Pizza Recipe
Happy Saturday everyone! Today is an exciting day for me, it’s my daughters first soccer game! We have been in the dance studio for the past 2 years, so this is a big leap for her. I supported her decision to try something new, but let me tell you, I never thought I would be a soccer mom. I’m not a huge sports fan (other than UK basketball and UFC) but I will be turning in to one now!
Last week when visiting a friend she had a made a Cold Cream Cheese Veggie Pizza and I fell in love with the recipe. It was cool, fresh, and oh-so-yummy. More importantly the kids LOVED it. So I knew I had to make it for a soccer snack for the team today. I wanted to share the recipe with you guys because it’s easy to make, and a great snack time alternative to chips or candies. Any excuse to get some veggies in is a good one right? Let’s check out how to make it:
Here is how to make my Cold Cream Cheese Veggie Pizza Recipe:
You Will Need:
- Pastry Dough (I used the seamless crescent rolls)
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
- Veggies! (I used carrots, broccoli, black olives, and green onions. But you could use what ever veggies you like best)
Step 1: Preheat your oven according to the package instructions on your dough.
Step 2: Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Spread your dough out so it almost touches the 4 corners of your cookie sheet. Bake according to package instructions.
Step 3: Wait until your dough has cooled completely, and then spread your cream cheese on your dough. I used a cream cheese that had onion and chive in it. You can use whatever kind you would like! After you put your cream cheese on, don’t forget to sprinkle some shredded cheese on top.
Step 4: It’s time to cut up your veggies! I would recommend cutting them super thin. You can cover more of the pizza that way, and it’s not too thick. Put your Cold Cream Cheese Veggie Pizza in the fridge to chill about 2 hours before serving.
Step 5: Once chilled, cut into squares and serve. How easy was that? And I promise, the kids are going to love it. And the adults too for that matter.
This Cold Cream Cheese Veggie Pizza will keep in the fridge for about 3 days if covered. Big shout out to one of my very best friends Melissa for this yummy recipe!
